A very proactive and optimistic youth who has marked his presence actively in many social events and worked for many affiliations; a very young, dynamic, energetic, tremendously, humble and honest in his duty; 20 years Sudeep Ghimire , is not a new name to people who are active in Social Service and Environment Activism in Nepal. He has through his numerous affiliations and active involvement in many Social and Environmental organizations, contributed for this world to make a better place to live in. Mr. Ghimire is the member of Global Youth Board (2016/2017) in Plant-for-the-Planet; UNEP where he has been working with UNEP’s billion tree campaign and empowering Youths and Children on Climate Change through Academies. He is also the Vice President of Sano Sansar Initiative where he has been working for Climate Change, Youth Advocacy and Education for Sustainable Goals. He is also the General Manager cum Journalist in Nepal’s leading news portal of Youth; Glocal Khabar. He was the representative of Nepal as International Speaker at International Youth NGOs Summit (IYONS) 2015. He attended Global Youth Summit 2015 in Germany. He is Climate Reality Leader trained by US Vice President and Noble Laureate Al Gore. He has the experience of working with Amnesty International, Leo Club, Power Shift Nepal, Youth Initiative and Nepali Ko Radio where he worked as Radio Jockey for Youth Show. He recently has taken over the post of National Director at “Green the Gene”. Mr. Ghimire was awarded to participate in fellowship program from United States Alumni Engagement and Innovation Fund in 2012. He has developed in himself the ability to work positively for social welfare. Mr. Ghimire is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Technology (Civil Engineering) from B.V.C. Engineering College, JNTUK.
